La Joya Fresh Mexican

Have been here many times before and we Will not be going back , the restaurant is lovely looking but we have been here before and food has gone down in quality and freshness, fresh Mexican?? Taco Bell has fresher food. I heard they got a new head chef and from what I can see in the food lately he’s incompetent. This restaurant has not benefitted from him. The owners have low moral values and subpar businessmen at best. Heard through grapevine they fire employees with families with no notice . La joya won’t be around much longer if they keep it up like this . (had to edit review to get it back up because i think owner cant handle critics

I really think the restaurant is a Treasure. The food is outstanding, service is fast and on the top, staff is wonderful and timely. Front of the restaurant and from what I can see, the back kitchen is very clean and well kept- Amazing!. Quality ingredients and great menu mix for the concept. Waiting for the next step for expansion with everything. Amazing owners that are investing their hard work to bringing food and experience to the area. LOVE IT!!!!

Went for my birthday in June. We had such a great experience. Didn’t call ahead but they were so accommodating. We sat outside because we had our dog with us and they took great care of him. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! The guacamole and chips were super fresh. We started with guacamole, I got the endless summer margarita and the veggie bowl and they added wild mushrooms for me. We got churros for dessert. All delicious.

Such a cute little place! Food is amazing and the staff there are so nice and welcoming! My husband and I aren’t in CT too often but when we are we do make a point to stop in for dinner.

This spot has one of the best Tacos in Town!! Tried every taco they had and I liked each and every one!
