"Great little bar and restaurant in Lusignac. Service can sometimes be a bit slow so go early if you wish to eat. They have brought the pool table back to the rear room, so this makes a welcome distraction for young children while parents have a quiet glass or two."

We lunched here with friends a couple of days ago. The weather was very kind and we sat outside for drinks and our meal. The 13 Euro lunch was very good- a tasty soup- tureen left on the table so several bowl fills, an interesting dish called a Soufflé, but in fact slightly different but still yummy. Followed by Hache Parmentier or Hake, both very good, Cheese was pleasantly ripe "non" supermarket, and then a choice of Ile Flottante or a Creme Caramel. All well cooked and just the right portion size for lunchtime With some beers to start, a couple of pitchers of vin rouge, a couple of coffees, the bill came to 61 Euros for 4. You can't go wrong with this place - we will return.

I wouldn't waste your money here. Went a second time to give benefit of doubt but it was even worse. Food undercooked to the point of meat literally ice cold in the middle, a basic croque monsieur burnt on one side and not even toasted on the other, cold soup, inedible steak. They definitely do not have a chef.

When the new owners started all seemed good, generous portions, well cooked meals. Recent meals very disappointing, I don't know where they get the confit de canard from but it's poor quality, mussels with no evidence of any wine or herbs, the gambas have got smaller. I would find somewhere else.

The 5 course Menu of the Day, including wine and coffee, at Euro13:00 was very good but the main course of venison could have been served a lot warmer. Being November it was quiet at lunch time but a few locals did appear. Think this could be a very popular venue in the summer months.
