in the region we had reserved by a room via internet. our reservation falling on Monday evening we had no possibility to restore us on site. nothing to say about the reception, smiling and pro staff. a little surprised though even that a 3-star hotel is not equipped with an air conditioning system in the common areas, per particle period it may be useful. We took possession of our room (blues), big room, cosie, nice decor. the hotel restaurant la magnanerie is located in aubignosc, about 10klms by sisteron and in the immediate vicinity of Chateaux-Arnoux. the hotel restaurant, led by the chef stephan poroche, was selected as the “Best chef of france Logis” in 2007. the restaurant is great...modern and contemporary and offers an extensive menu (available in English menu) with typical French food with the option of multiple set menus or a la carte. the quality of the food was simply excellent (like the service,) along with the variety of wines in the offer. it was not surprising that at the time of our visit the restaurant was protected so much, with many people visiting from outside the hotel itself. the price...
the autorecoding forced us to a local hotel, and here we ended. no judgment, only luck. the greeting was very friendly and sympathetic with the hotel reception ability to speak English, suitable to our to speak French. we have a 'comfort room' .spotless and much more sufficient. the evening meal was excellently cooked and presented in the bistro fresh regional food. there was no error we were on the land frankreich aix en provence alpen. the breakfast next day was again very fresh hotel staff helped us to sort the local garage and the free transport. wonderful. would recommend and hope to stay back
Very good restaurant. pleasant reception .service professional. The kitchen is full of flavors that treat taste buds. The setting is very beautiful with a beautiful terrace that makes forget the national road, but it is a shame that the surroundings of it are not maintained! And when we get here we feel that the restaurant is closed and abandoned. But it is true that the establishment has just been taken over by nice owners.We went there twice and twice satisfied. Inward, wind flight, kidneys, calf; succulent. and then roasted, with summer vegetables; delicious. Then I chose two balls of homemade ice cream, lighter for the evening! meal taken on a beautiful terrace, shaded, green and flowery; to the edge of the neighboring woods. I knew the room, but I had never had the opportunity to dine outside, really, if the time allows it don't hesitate, try this refined cuisine, in this bucolic setting. To this day, "the magnanerie remains, my favorite restaurant.
It's for a dinner with friends that we've chosen to dine with the magnanerie. warm welcome, courteous service and in good mood, always a small attention of the person who took care of us to know if everything was going for the best, very professional!! excellent value for money and well-kept kitchen all in a very nice setting. bravo
from the beginning (reception) to the end (and yes there is one!) everything was perfect. All in a menu at 25€ that ask for more. Frankly, you should not miss this stage, the staff is young and charming. In addition, it is wheelchair accessible.
