I pre ordered a take away meal to be delivered on new years eve. It was ordered on 29.12.21 as I knew the restaurant would be busy. The meal was delivered on time but had several items missing (around £19 in value) I phoned the restaurant straight away incase the driver had maybe missed a bag. No. I had apparently received all of the order. I explained what was missing and offered to drive to the restaurant to collect the rest. After several calls back and fore I was eventually told that there were around 20 orders in front of me and they could not tell me when my missing items would be ready to collect. Arriving late in Neath after a long drive, we were dispirited to find that just about zero hope of getting any sort of quality food on a Sunday night. The restaurant was literally closing but having learned that we had driven from Lancashire the owner gladly welcomed my wife and I and kept the chef on, and boy were we glad he did! A lovely warm welcome, very friendly service, and delicious hot and tasty food, with even the poppadoms being fresh and hot! Both my king prawn dupiaza and accompanying garlic naan were to die for, and my wife loved her chicken biryani. Generous portions at reasonable prices, and I wish I lived closer to be able to return. I made a reservation in advance for a special birthday celebration at this restaurant. The service was slow to begin with and we had to remind the waitress to take our drink orders. It took an hour for our food to start arriving, and we could see that the kitchen appeared to be short-staffed. There was no explanation or apology for the long wait. Some members of our group had to wait for certain parts of their order, resulting in their main dishes getting cold while they waited for their side dishes. The food itself was delicious, but the overall service was extremely poor.

The food has a good taste great spice combinations and layers of flavour BUT there is very little meat served in the sauce, My Chicken Chatenade had two pieces of chicken in the whole carton my husband had 4 tiny pieces if lamb in his dish. We ordered on line to get the discount code for the third time it didn't work! Plus we paid for side dishes that did not arrive again not for the first time We called to complain and were told nothing could be done. Sorry we are out......disgraceful attitude and Indifference.....shan't order from here again Reserva una mesa ahora

Having read the reviews for this restaurant we thought it would be the place to go. Over the years we have eaten at many Indian restaurants around the uk, and I am sorry to say that this comes bottom of the list. Very limited menu. We ordered poppadoms dips (plus mains What we received re dips bore no resemblance to an Indian meal, a disgusting green glup, plain tomato sauce (which would form part of a pasta sauce! a bog standard mango chutney (which was the only edible item After the first course we cancelled the rest of the order and left!

I had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant last night. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and the food was delicious. It was one of the best Indian meals we have ever had, with very reasonable prices and attentive staff. We couldn't finish all of our meal, so they graciously allowed us to take the leftovers home. I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning in the future.

Came here on our first night and had a drink and mentioned to the staff that we'd come back the next night or the night after for a meal (the restaurant is in the hotel we were staying at). Next night it was closed and for the rest of our stay over the entire Easter Holiday Weekend. The Restaurant is also where the breakfasts are served and that was open.

been 3 or 4 times after recently moving to skewen, Excellent indian the meal has been consistently good quality ! We always go early so usually the only ones in there. Worried by how quiet the restaurant was, but I thought I’d give it a go. Ordered the Naga Jalfrezi and it was spot on, loads of flavour and spice. No floating oil like most of the Indian restaurants around South Wales

I had a wonderful dining experience at the Old Market Tavern today with my close friend. I ordered the chicken bacon wrap and it was delicious! I appreciate the excellent service provided.
