Shh - do not tell anyone but we went there last night and had an excellent meal. Our party of 6 all chose the 27 euro menu - we could choose from the "fixed" menu and the "specials". I started with the Assiette, a salad with bite-size slices of several different meats, some warm. Then I had Jambonette (chicken stuffed and rolled, cookend then sliced) and for dessert I had a special (glace souffle with pommes tapees - nice but I will not have it again!), We had a very nice bottle of Bourgueil at 22.50 euros. We had various other sundries (aperitifs, soft drinks, drinks with coffee...) and the bill was under 40 euros a head!!!Now the restaurant - the car park is on the other side of the road to the restaurant with a zebra crossing between the two. I have trouble getting about so use a wheelchair somtimes - there is a ramp up to the restaurant and the doors could have been opened for me to "wheel" in. We sat outside, (there were steps to this bit - although you can eat inside) - all the tables had large brollies so you sheltered from the elements. The restaurant is run by Mosieur who does all the cookng and Madame, who does the rest!! They are both very friendly and we had a chat with them at the end of the evening - which is when I discovered they speak Ehglish - so I used my French unnecessarily!!! The restaurant is very French in a tourist area - it is not (over)priced for tourists- we have been to much more expensive "tourist" restaurants where the food was not nearly as good! - but it is used mainly by "locals" who provide most of their custom - so should I be telling people who are not local about this gem? Suffice it to say that we will DEFINITELY be returning
