La Mar De Fons

We were walking through Calafell, and instead at the end of the paseo marítimo direction Barcelona, we changed way and found this place right near the beach. At our arrival we found place to sit outside with 5 person, but at typical catalan dinner time, the locals were waiting to get a place to sit. Good local food, as well as more traditional mediterranean dishes, but all served correctly, fast and gently. Specially good were the sepia pescaditos mejillones berberechos . With the bravas they should one day to to Bar Tomás in Barcelona

delicious food, didn't have a main meal just ordered lots of tapas. By far he best meal all week. Although get there early because it gets very full up as the Spanish tend to go out later in the evening. Service was excellent on the whole but did forget a coupled of drinks. I was most impressed by the delicious food

Visited 23 Aug 18 for lunch. Had some fried boquerones and puntillas both crispy and fresh. Also ordered some iberico pork which was tender but almost ‘bouncy’ and coupled with this was somewhat smokey not to our taste so was a less successful dish.

Menu and drink selection was great. Atmosphere was nice and suitable for couples. Good service and value for money too. Would go back when next in Calafell.

Consistently good. Have visited here for several years. Great place to chill out and to enjoy quality local food and wine. We will return!
