La Margueria - Reservar una mesa

I found La Margueria very comfortable, even cozy, on a chilly evening and have only kudos for the exceptionally kind staff. I had wanted only something light, but misspoke when ordering (my French is very limited), and ended up with much more food than I...could manage. Despite my assurances that it was my mistake and that there was nothing wrong with the food, the staff insisted on adjusting my bill. How kind! The dish I did eat a salad with chevre toasts was delicious and very generous.

My girlfriend and I arrived here in Tende on Sunday evening to leave on Monday afternoon. La Margueria was the only restaurant open at the time and we were not disappointed. The interior is cosy and wooden, ski lodge style, the staff are very friendly...and the food was great, I had the ravioli del plin. The highlight however was the tiramisu, the best I have ever had! We decided to come back the following day for lunch. Thoroughly recommended!

We were in Tende for the day, having come by train, and were here for lunch. The atmosphere seated outdoors in the main street of this beautiful mountain village was great-we seemed to be the only tourists in the restaurant. The pizza I ordered took...a while to come but was great-thin and crisp as a real pizza should be, and scattered with olives, capers and garlic. Just a simple meal, but it was so good! Highly recommended.

This pizza is absolutely incredible. It’s the best pizza I have had in all of France. The staff was quite helpful and explained what toppings were on each of the pizza options as they are not listed in French or English. The wait for the...food was average and payment was easy. We highly recommend the pizza oil they bring out with your meal.

Very good local homey food. Friendly service. Delicious Desserts. About per person with drinks.
