La Marmotte - Reservar una mesa

La Marmotte has a great lively outside bar that kicks off with rock music from 10 am. The ground floor is a standard piste style cafe but upstairs you will find a lovely full service restaurant of real quality. The staff are very friendly and efficient and take a real interest in their customers. The food was delicious. We recommend the local specialities page. Veal meatloaf to die for, amazingly tender and tasty liver in sauce and the fitness salad. Something for everyone and all of excellent quality and fairly priced. A real find which became our regular full lunch stop.

This restaurant is over the border from Ischgl in the Swiss area of Samnaun next to the orange chair lift back to Idalp. During my week in Ischgl I found myself stopping off here for a drink at the end of the day with a sweet treat or else tucked away in the corner soaking up the rays over a leisurely lunch. A must if you find yourself on a skiing trip to Ischgl.

I have been here for a ski vacation with friends. As we were located in Ischgl, it was a must to ski over the swiss border. La Marmotte is a nice place to stop by, it is a typical apre-ski, but nice to stop over for a drink on a big sunny terrace.

Can’t believe a Switzerland restaurant won’t provide water for their customers even they eat in. It is quite experience already and the food is just normal.

We enjoyed the food, friendly staff and cosy atmosfere. It is a spacious apreski facility where you can just warm up, eat or drink a hot tea or coffee.
