The maritime fish restaurant Bistro La Mer is located in Husum directly at the outdoor harbour, not ten meters away the crab cutters are located on the docks. Here you can enjoy a wonderful view of the maritime flair at a fish bun or a fish dish from the restaurant. The bistro of La Mer is located next door to the main restaurant. In the bistro itself, the guest can choose whether to sit indoors or in beautiful weather on a small outdoor terrace. Here, for example, fish rolls or other tasty, small snacks are offered to take away. The restaurant area has a covered sun terrace with space for approx. 100 people. Here you feel immediately comfortable, you immediately notice that you are located...
This was the best fish we had in Husum last week. We had the Backfisch mit Bratkartoffeln as a main. The fish was NOT frozen. It was fresh – unlike a number of other well-reviewed restaurants in town. Fresh, firm, terrific fish and not expensive....Recommend Le Mer And the staff were attentive, friendly and fast. Also, head back for lunch for the Frische Fischbrötchen. Again, really good. I have one complaint: the beer lines for the tapped beer taint the beer. They need to be cleaned properly. I would suggest ordering the bottled beer. Go there!
Returning from a long walk on Wattenmeer we enjoyed our lunch at La Mer. Not that I would say the menu looked very French inspired (apart from fish with oil and garlic maybe?), but it was definitely sea- food they served, and they served it well. We found both the prawns and the herring very tasty (mind you: we might be biased, because we were so hungry!) and the service quite good. My overall rating "very good" is a little better than I would choose, but it comes closer to our experience than "average". Bon appetit!

Fresh, solid, fantastic fishing and not expensive....Recommend le mer 100% and the staff was attentive, friendly and fast. again, really good. I have a complaint: the beer lines for the seized beer tremble the beer. I would suggest ordering the beer. Go!
We had a lovely fish dinner here. The rooms have a nautical flair and from most seats you can look out on the Harbor. While we were there a fishing boat came and was unloaded. You know the fish are fresh!!! The specials include the local "Krappen" - little north sea shrimp. The food was lovely, and the service was very good although it was very crowded.
