Although I can't stand the dividing partitions at the bar, the food at La Merenda is fantastic. Sarah took care of us, and her recommendations were right on. The menu covers the world, with dishes representing countries proud of their culinary traditions. We loved the Pistachio salad, Butter Chicken, the Sambal Goreng Udang, whose coconut milk mashed potatoes were orgasmic. Pricing was more than reasonable. Get rid of those partitions, and I'll be there every week. After living in Seattle, I don't need to be frozen out from humanity any more. Three years were enough. We all need to get closer. Tribalism isn't healthy.

absolutely delicious meal. it was a very long time that I can actually say that everything was fantastic. all staff, from hostess to the servers, were top notch! we will definitely return regularly. I'm sorry we didn't know earlier about this place! highly recommend any entree, our party of four tries at least eight different dishes and the first was as wonderful as the last. the tres leches cake was also wonderful, they literally melted in the mouth.
