"Wow! This is the best Mexican food I've had and I'm picky. It's a bit expensive but honestly it's worth it. There's a reason this place is packed. The staff was friendly and checked up on us and got us refills."

I don’t usually give any negative reviews, but I will have to say I was deeply disappointed with our experience this evening. We ordered via phone and picked up a to-go order. We were charged almost $40 for 6 asada tacos. When I asked how much they were, they told me it was over $6 per taco. That’s nuts! We requested no onion on the tacos due to a food preference and when we got back home, they were slathered with onions and bland beans. We spent 10 minutes picking out onions. They were very over priced and tasted terrible. The other meal we purchased was adequate, but nothing I would recommend. $60 wasted for two meals we ended up not finishing. Would not recommend.

The dish I ordered was the enchiladas montadas , two flat-stacked tortillas filled in the middle with beef, chicken or cheese, topped with red sauce and cheese and two fried eggs. Garnished with lettuce and tomatoes. Something quite different from your regular enchiladas. As of Nov 2022 this dish was $18.25 This was my first visit there, I am not familiar with the area and relied entirely on reviews, however from experience there are many other options that are far more authentic and with better prices and service. The food at La Milpa is good, however their prices are more expensive than other sit down mexican food restaurants that I have visited.

This is a family tan restaurant that has been here for decades. Nothing fancy on the inside, but feels homey and familiar. The food has large portions and great flavor. We got take out the last time and they aren’t shy about packing plenty of salsas and chips and portions were great. I had the fajitas which were very yummy. We also got lobster nachos. I think they might be a bit better tableside instead of takeout, but nevertheless they were good. They gave an entire container of guacamole like a large one! The tortilla soup was also good although I prefer to have the chips on the side and not soggy in the soup for takeout. Still ate it tho haha.

I had my first meal at LA Milpa back in the 1990s at their previous location. While driving home from Campbell, we were in the mood for some food nearby and were pleasantly surprised to discover that they’re still in business! My husband and I placed our takeout orders since they were about to close. What a delightful surprise to find that the food was just as delicious as I remembered! I absolutely love their Tostadas, Tacos, and Flautas... so yummy! Reserva una mesa ahora

The food was so good! I moved out of California decades ago and of course it's difficult to find good Mexican options. I got the enchiladas and the flavor took me right back to childhood and that taste that I've missed for so many years! So glad we found this place. Will gladly go back if in the area again.

I’m a big fan of giant burritos, and La Milpa definitely delivered. The portion was so generous that I had enough leftovers for a late-night snack. I also appreciated the two different salsas that came with the chips; they were packed with flavor. Overall, the service was excellent too.

My family has been visiting this restaurant for over 30 years, and the quality of the food and service has consistently been excellent. It's a family-owned establishment that has always stayed true to its roots. This is our favorite spot for family celebrations.

Lunch time on a Thursday. Quick service. Salsa and chips right as we sat down. Salsa is a house recipe and amazing. Ordered a chicken Burrito with refired beans and rice which was stuffed with chicken. Highly recommend going if you like Mexican food. Reserva una mesa ahora

I recently discovered this place. I've only had take out and the food is great! I dined in for the first time and service was fast and the food was hot. I ate chicken enchiladas with mole and taquitos with potato and cheese with guacamole. So good!
