What a hidden gem! This restaurant is like a little slice of Italy. We made a reservation before heading to the World Resort to see Peter Kay, and we were pleasantly surprised by how close this place was to all the chaos. The food at this cozy restaurant was fantastic, with an extensive menu offering something for everyone. The dishes we ordered were delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. With my partner living walking distance away from here, we thought we would give it a try based on a recommendation by a friend. Was a very hot day but the restaurant felt a lot cooler inside and we were quickly served. A good range of traditional home cooked Italian dishes. Because of this the service was a little slower then in other restaurants but as I say I would put this down to the home cooked meals. The restaurant is quite small and it quickly filled as the evening went on with a nice atmosphere and nice decor.
This place is one of the best I have eaten in. The food is amazing and it's so cheap it silly. You simply can't get better value. The portions are ample, the food is well seasoned, the chicken was moist , the prawns we cooked to perfection, the cream sauce was light and full of flavour. This place is actually worth some effort to get to even if you are a bit further away. I actually felt embarrassed by only paying 14 quid for a main here!
I have visited La Nonna three times before and always enjoyed the food, but last night was a disappointment. My wife's Fillet Steak was tough and inedible, while my Monkfish was overcooked. It seemed like there was a different chef in the kitchen, as my wife recognized the person cooking as the same waiter who had served us on our previous visits. We do not plan on returning after this experience.

This Italian restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is delicious and prepared in a traditional way that transports you to Italy. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, making you feel right at home. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. I will definitely be returning in the future.
The food was exceptional, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was lovely. The "gamberoni Luciana" dish was absolutely amazing, and the steak was incredible and melted in your mouth. We can't wait to come back again! Thank you.
10 out of 10 for the delicious food, the staff were friendly, knowledge about the food and served us well. ... I was in attendance for a friend's birthday gathering. I will definitely be coming back.
This restaurant gets booked out for a reason , and now we can see why!. Be warned portions are very generous but you can always take some home.

Everything was perfect. The food is delicious!!! The staff is very friendly The best Italian food we ever had. We highly recommend it.
