We recently celebrated a birthday with family at Nonna Bella. The staff, from the hostess to our waiter Miguel, were outstanding. However, the food and everything else fell well below our expectations. The pasta was overcooked and lacked seasoning. My son, who usually finishes everything, left food on his plate. We had high hopes for this place, but it turned out to be a major disappointment. It wasn't the authentic Italian dining experience we were looking forward to. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to Nonna Bella.

This was not the Italian dining experience we were anticipating. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to Nonna Bella.
Chef Lino was, as always, on top of his game with his unique specials, such as the homemade lobster ravioli with sea urchin, stuffed mussels with crab meat, and stuffed zucchini blossoms. Additionally, the bronzino, pasta, and banana cream tart were also outstanding! Excellent work as always, Pasqualino!
The food at La Nonna Bella is outstanding, and the owners are warm and wonderful! This Italian eatery is genuinely unique. Our party of eight was completely impressed. I strongly suggest visiting La Nonna Bella in Garden City.

I’ve never tasted a dish as delicious as the pork braciole with gnocchi special from June 1 at La Nonna Bella. My friend also loved the mushroom fettuccini! We will definitely be returning to explore more of the menu.
Not a fan of how they cook the pasta. Had higher expectations of location and reputation. Apps were Bland and missing taste too. Older vibe supplements the taste of their food.
The food is fantastic, and the restaurant is chef-owned. It has a dedicated clientele, making it quite difficult to secure a reservation on weekends.
I was very impressed with the food. They prepared a custom pasta dish for me this evening, and it was quite delicious.
