La Nymphe - Reservar una mesa

We stopped by in Bouzigues and had lunch at La Nymphe. This restaurant is situated by the road along the shore and the view is nice. As the village is known for its oysters we ordered that to begin with and mussles with pommes frites as the main course. The oysters were superb and the mussles as well. However, we had to wait long before we were asked to order and people arriving after us were taken before us. We ordered mayonnais with the frites, but that did not arrive with the food, so we asked for it again two times, but it never arrived. Bad behaviour in a restaurant with nice food and they do not take credit cards.

-Location: 3/5 (beautiful sea view)-Menu: 2/5 (food quality, freshness and preparation can be improved)-Service: 2/5 (quite friendly, but too slow)-Price quality: 3/5 (on average)We ordered a plateau royal de fruits de mer (oysters, periwinkles, crab, prawns, mussels) and a tuna tartare. While the latter was excellent (except the fact they served it with fries, a poor combination), the plateau royal's quality and above all freshness can be improved (oysters with little water inside, crab with ammonia odor). Very slow service because of waitresses and kitchen staff disorganisation. To be avoided

This is not a very pretty restaurant, situated on the road with sea views - quite basic. Unfortunately we had to sit indoors by the kitchen and toilet - did not appear to be very hygienic. Service was not very good and food was average.

Visited here today for was delicious octopus salad yum although rather a lot grilled Gambas also Exellent nice bottle of local picboul thoroughly recommend this place

Very friendly service. Wonderful location with views out to sea. Such fresh oysters and escargots de mer. Loved it!
