My recent visit to Là ô Morgins left much to be desired. From the moment we walked in, it was evident that our dining experience would be less than satisfactory. Firstly, the wait time was utterly unacceptable. We were forced to twiddle our thumbs for a staggering 1.5 hours before our meals arrived. Considering the lackluster quality of the food, this wait time was simply unjustifiable. Speaking of the food, it was nothing short of disappointing. The carbonara dishes we ordered were a disaster. Not only were they subpar in taste, but they also had a distinct burnt flavor that made them practically inedible. Most mountain top restaurants are copy cats of each other but La O Morgins exceeds in most areas. Even on busy skiing days, guests are served fast due to a good group of waiting staff. And the food is definitely much better than the cantina style servings in many similar spots. The sausage came with a lovely salad and a super tasty onion sauce. The accompanying white local wine, the fendant was a good pairing even if on the fruity/ non too dry side. Good value for money, this restaurant is definitely recommended on a gorgeous sunny day.
Tomato fondue when we got home we were all sick and on the toilet! Lamentable and very long service 45 minutes to get the first drinks ultimately sought by us. Charged us for 1 bottle of red and 1 of white in excess, pitifully The waiter spilled a drink on one of our guests…. Zero experience we suffered the total for an amount of 50. per person anyway 3rd and last time here promised
