It appeared as though our waiter had little or no training. He offered to take our orders as soon as we sat down at the same time he took our drink orders. I moved my glass towards him when he brought the wine so he could pour a tasting. He proceeded to pour each of us a full glass. This is the first time that our entrees were delivered just as we were finishing our salads. Great hidden gem of media. Classic Italian fare, with some interesting twists. Portions were good. I ate half and was full and did not order appetizers. They have an amazing dirty martini(dirty padella) with garlic stuffed olives that was delicious and smooth I ordered a Cajun parpadell and my girlfriend order the Frutti Di Mare. Both meals arrived at the table steaming and delicious. The shrimp cooked to perfection. We split the berry sorbet for dessert and it was delicious. It went well with coffee and Guinness alike. Also don't skip the bread and oil. This simple and common table addition it executed to perfection.
We have eaten here many times and want so badly for it to be one of our “go to” places. However, we always leave disappointed. Tonight stuffed mushrooms were awful mostly mushy stuffing. Veal Milanese was a very dry piece if veal over tasteless stems of dry Arugula…Definitely needed some moisture flavor (and less stems). Portion size was good, but just totally flavorless. Service was good , attentive and server listened to our honest assessment if the food. Prior visits yielded overcooked, pasty pasta, which was so disappointing since they tout their “homemade” pastas… boxed would have been better.
We feel so fortunate to live near La Padella! The food is excellent, and Danielle and Amanda are incredibly friendly and accommodating. It truly strikes the perfect balance of being a beloved neighborhood spot while serving up delicious meals.

Always feel so welcomed and taken care of by the owners and staff while we are here for dinner. Always a delicious meal when we dine with them. Specials are fantastic. Can’t wait to come back.

We enjoyed a relaxing dinner and drinks, and were not rushed and received excellent service! Casual atmosphere. Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free pasta.
The appetizers and main courses were fantastic. The service was equally impressive, with a very friendly staff. We will definitely be back!
