Very bad service, the staff weren’t helpful at all and especially one waitress, she was so rude to us the entire night. Whatever we were asking she was always nagging and talking back to us. The first thing we entered the restaurant she was so rude and gave us a very bad impression. They even charged us 3€ service for the cake that we bought even though usually they dont take. The restaurants besides this one dont charge for cake service and their staff were very helpful. Very unprofessional, wouldn’t visit and wouldn’t recommend again! The food was average and it is the exact same food as the other restaurants around the area, so i would recommend you to go to other restaurant.
This is exactly what you’d expect from these little guinguettes on the banks of the river Saone, a very friendly, relaxed, typically french place. If you’re looking for “haute gastronomy” look away, but stick to Fritures (traditional fried fishes) or Cuisses de Grenouilles (the infamous frog legs) for which these places have been renown for centuries and you won’t be disappointed. The friendly staff, honest house wines and relaxing flow of the river will do the rest... and you’ll end up spending much more time than you expected around the table in a very french “bonne humeur”!
We had the worst fears about this place but it was the only one we could find that was open. But this was actually a very good place. Starters and mains were top quality. Salmon tartare, foie gras and carpaccio were truest good choices. The entrecôte and tuna steaks were again very good quality and perfectly prepared. Give it a go; I do not think you will regret
Very popular restaurant, with pretty reasonable prices, menu from 22eu. The cuisses de grenouilles were excellent, France on a plate. The service was great, we left well satisfied.
