La Paillotte - Reservar una mesa

Great spot for lunch. We stopped here on a Wednesday and had a meal to break up a bike ride. The staff are super friendly and speak good English. We both ordered mussels in white wine sauce and thoroughly enjoyed them. It was fairly good value too, €56 for the meal, two coffees, a beer and 500ml of plonk. If we pass by here again we would definitely revisit. A good meal in lovely surroundings.

We wanted to order some mussels but they were not available anymore. We ate a steak and cod fish in stead. The food was pretty bland. To our surprise, a table that came in after us did get to order mussels after making a big deal out of them not being available anymore.. location and staff are nice, but don't say you can not serve a dish when you still have it in stock.

Very popular with locals. Fresh. Very well cooked food. Very good service. There's food kids will like.
