La Palma Nova - Reserva de mesa

We discovered the beautiful Palma Nova while on holiday in mid July. The bar and restaurant have a lovely laid back summery vibe, with stunning views of the Dordogne river. The staff and managers are delightful extremely hard working and professional but also very friendly and welcoming. The dishes are delicious and substantial. We were delighted to find some great veggie options too. The home made fries are superb and the cocktails of the day excellent and very good value. We were a group aged from 25 to 60 and we all loved this place, choosing to eat there 3 times in a week!

This summer pop up restaurant is located on the edge of the river Dordogne with amazing sun sets. The menu is limited (not gourmet! , the food is fresh and reliable. The short wine list includes organic wines ask the staff, they're very helpful! There are always vegetarian options on the menu which makes a vegetarian feel welcome. Staff very helpful, service great. Ambiance great, location great!

Booked here after our kayaking on the river. The service was excellent even for most of us who only spoke English. We ordered burgers and some salads. The burgers were very tasty on excellent local buns. Plenty of drink options and spectacular views of the river. A great lunch after an enjoyable morning on the river. Highly recommended.

Dropped off the river whilst canoeing. Perfect for an al fresco and informal lunch. Sébastien very helpful in reserving a table beforehand

Nice night on the dordan. The large perigourdine salad is well-stocked and the products are of quality. The coast is very good too.
