La Paloma Gelateria Cafe

Tried this place for the first time yesterday with my sister and her friend. I can honestly say I regret not listening to the other reviews regarding rude unacceptable behaviour from the workers. My sister‘s friend asked to try the Hazelnut flavour, the worker gave her a sample from the fresh tub in the front. My sister’s friend said she liked it and ordered that. The worker then serves her from the tub in the back (the red arrow) where the gelato is hard, old and frozen. My sister’s friend tried it and said it did not taste the same. We kindly asked them to remake it for from the fresh tub or give us a refund. They rudely and in a condescending manner denied us both, so we simply threw all...

I love visiting to buy gelato with my husband and son, the flavour variety is amazing and tasty. My husband also really enjoys the espresso coffee. The staff are always so friendly and patient. The place can get crowded sometimes but we do like sitting in when there are chairs available. Even though it's a bit pricey, we think it's well worth for the unique flavours. I recommend the passion fruit sorbet, pistachio, and dulce de leche, but my all time favourite is the classic chocolate.

Argumentative staff. Simply ordered a gelato with espresso (Affogato). What I got was a cup with a small scoop of gelato filled with espresso. It’s suppose to be a cup of gelato drizzled with espresso. Older gentlemen behind the counter argued with me when I asked him what this was. Waste of time and money. Average gelato at best and poor customer service. Please retire if you hate your job or don’t know how to make an Affogato and charge $10 for melted ice cream.

This place used to be awesome but has gone downhill. The prices have gone through the roof as a small gelato is now $7 which is too high considering even with the inflated prices eating out. But all of this pales in comparison to the quality of the ice-cream which is bad. You can taste the icicles as well as the flavor is just not there. too bad as used to be my go to place in woodbridge.

This is good *ice cream*Marketed as gelato, hence the 3 star review.Loved the variety of flavours and customer service.Had the kinder chocolate. Liked the chocolate bits, but found that the gelato wasn't rich, smooth and creamy. It was more airy, like regular ice cream.Wouldn't knock it, but if you're looking for (my opinion of) real gelato, consider Mizzica.

Customer service is horrible and has gone down hill at this location one lady is on her phone with no care in the world, the other was extremely rude as well. Customer service makes or breaks a business it comes before the product it’s self. Very disappointed even more so being part of this community and coming to this location for so many years.

Portions get smaller every time we come. We complained about a flavour that tasted like medicine and they said everyone likes it, sorry, nothing we can do about it. Unfortunately, our favourite gelato place Pronto Cafe was closed. Next time we go just to Pronto or nothing at

Horrible attitudes from the cashiers, very unprofessional and the gelato is the worst I’ve ever had. La Paloma on St Clair used to be the best but they’ve become greedy and quality has gone down hill. Your better off getting ice cream from McDonalds!

Being here for the ice cream with my server is continuously on the phone on her earpiece and not even focussing to serve us. Gelato was ok. Not worth coming so far.

Absolutely overrated! Customer service was ok but the gelato’s are not worth it. There is no taste and flavour.
