La Palombiere is a hotel with a French restaurant located in the little town called Artichan-de-Frontignes, in French Pyrenees. We stayed here one night and we decided to dinner in the restaurant: excellent decision. We ate the daily menu with gesiers salad as first dish, magret de canard (duck) as second dish and local cheeses selection as dessert. Superb French dinner. Also a red wine from Chateau Bellevue La Forêt. And the most important thing, my 4 years daughter enjoyed with the omelette of cheese. All excellent. (see also Hotel Auberge de la Palombiere)
Classic Style decoration at this restaurant (also hotel) in the forest. Offers a la carte but also several menús at very reasonable prices. We took a 19€ and a 20€ menu including 2 dishes, cheese and dessert. Salads, canard, entrecôte, pomme frites, cheese were real good and generous dishes. Do not miss tiramisu, big portion and delicious taste. If again in the area, a must go restaurant
very well located, little to serve as a bed and breakfast for the tour de france, place and friendly kitchen...repas on reservation for family occasions.
Enjoyed this place immensely a great local restaurant tucked away in the Pyrenees. Food was tasty, fresh and very French!
