La Pampa Parrilla Argentina

Tried here going by reviews on Facebook and trip advisor, ordered drinks which were great as half litre wine is 6 euro and a pint is 3.50. Went to order food and asked for fillet to be told none left, was also no ribs or bones steak. Waitress went on to tell us the owner/person in charge of ordering had went on a holiday and forgot to order these meats, I’m guessing they were also the chef as the steaks were very average. Both ordered rib eye. The steaks were more like sirloins and my medium steak was closer to rare and very chewy. My pregnant wife ordered well done (obviously) it came out dripping in blood. When it was sent back it came out well done. Staff were friendly but very disappointed as steaks were poor and not cooked as asked.

Having eaten at a few other restaurants including direct competitors La Pampa is streaks ahead. The quality of food is very high and their service is exceptional. I asked for a blue steak and even though not listed as an option they did it and it was perfect. The energy in this restaurant is high and can be felt as they all contribute to a well oiled machine and outstanding customer service.

Absolutely gorgeous steaks, if you’re looking a real flavourful steak and the pepper sauce was to die for, I would highly recommend here. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it was a bit on the pricey side, but was worth it for my boyfriend and I’s 6th month anniversary dinner (or any special dinner like that.

Oh my goodness. I need a steak at least once on my holiday. This evening was the best steak I have had . Staff friendly, attentive and funny. Glad to tell my story of great steak houses.

Found this gem on an side street at the end of the strip, food was delicious, had the chicken skewer yum, steaks looked amazing, staff very friendly.
