We wanted to try something local so yes, we googled Mexican restaurants near us as we were traveling through. So glad we did. I had the al carbon (broiled steak tacos but first. Let's talk about the guacamole. It was so fresh and delicious. Chunky and creamy at the same time with fresh onions and tomatoes and I'm not explaining it well. Picadillo taco dinner for my husband and throughout he kept saying we are coming back. The salsa that came with the chips was a little smoky and tasty. Beer was cold and the service was superb. What a delicious and authentic Mexican dinner! I had cheese enchiladas with green sauce, and my partner had enchiladas with various meat fillings. I have to admit, after I finished my meal, I noticed someone at another table enjoying fajitas that looked incredibly tempting—I almost fell over from how good they looked! We do live a bit far, but I will definitely return in the future! I should also mention that the service was wonderful!
I have no idea how this place is rated as high. eating is usually contaminated with only the hot salsa with heat or spice. the chicken in the plate was good and the margarita was decent (not magnificent), but otherwise still tasted like Mexican food. the service is also extremely slow. the one tries his best, but we had to go and get our bill after we wait over half an hour. there need to be much better options in Naperville/Lisle.
This restaurant has an incredible location and outstanding service. It's important to support local businesses. The staff are doing their absolute best during these times, and our server was nothing short of spectacular. The food was amazing, the drinks were refreshing, and the dessert was delicious. The brisket was rather tough, and the overall dining experience was just okay. The service was a bit slow since there was only one person handling all the food service duties. While they offered authentic Mexican cuisine, I have had better elsewhere. The street corn appetizers I ordered were delicious, but unfortunately, that was the only highlight of my visit.
