Virginie did the cooking and her husband Herni waited the tables. The kitchen was partly open so one could watch as the food was prepared. We ate an excellent menu meal. I highly recommend the place but either come early or have a reservation as there are few tables; especially if you want to eat outside. They may be closed now as Virginie was due to have her baby soon. They planned to close for a while after the birth but did have plans for reopening. The Chinon restaurant scene will be the loser if they did not reopen.
Nos acercamos a La Part Des Anges siguiendo las opiniones de otros viajeros y nos encantó. La elaboración de cada plato y sus sabores marcaron la diferencia frente a la mayoría de los restaurantes que hemos visitado en nuestra escapada por el Valle del Loira. Gran trabajo por parte de los dueños de este restaurante familiar. Si no tienes reserva,recomendamos que intentes acudir a primera hora porque se llena. ¡Muy recomendable!
a friendly setting, a correct welcome and an original well mastered kitchen. thanks to a map composed of 2 admissions, 2 dishes and 3 desserts the products are fresh. short a quality ratio price almost perfect. If I say almost perfect it's only because there was a bit of something to go from hum to whaou. an address to memorize...
a nice restaurant with a friendly chef we came for dinner and there chef was pregnant despite that she was able to concoct us a great menu because the choice of menu was restricted excellent from the entrance to dessert with original notes

This restaurant is worth your while. We thoroughly enjoyed the well balanced and thoughtfully put together entree, main and dessert. The fact that the chef is about to give birth only increases our respect for the meal.
during our brief stay in chinon we had the opportunity to eat there several times a fantastic young couple: she cooks him in the room only happiness... refined and original cuisine at a reasonable price

Madame cooks a real chef, sir is in both rooms and/or on the terrace on the small street. dishes are regional, light, original and excellent know-how and taste.
