Dined at La Pasta while on a one-night stopover in Bourges. It was a success. Near the centre of town, already full of local families when I arrived about 19.30, it was clearly a happy place. Despite the large number of customers, La Pasta's staff managed very well indeed. Pizzas were made to order in quick time, servers were friendly and helpful, and the pizza was excellent. There was a wide variety of toppings available, and we could purchase wine by the picher. Prices were reasonable. Not a posh restaurant by any means; but this is how pizzerias should be. Recommend wholeheartedly.
Pizza was ok . Not the best but not bad either . They did expect us to get a full meal for all individuals dining - we had an 8 yr old . So we wanted to share the pizza but the waitress almost pressurised us to order a separate meal for the child . There was no seperate child menu . When we insisted to share there was more pressure for drinks and then coffee and dessert . This was the first time we encountered a situation like this during our 6 week stay in France . It was not pleasant .
Great place! We arrived just after opening which was lucky as it soon became very busy. There is plenty of choice including a children's option. The food arrived quickly and was very tasty. The pizzas are huge! The staff were very friendly and helpful. All round a great experience

Service efficace. Très bonnes, pizzas, à pate fine, avec des produits frais. la réservation n’est pas possible, mais en arrivant assez tôt, on trouve de la place.
