La Pastizzeria - Reservar una mesa

Sometimes simple is best. Whenever I'm not sure what food I want to eat for lunch or dinner, I usually tend to go for Japanese sushi, or Italian food. Yesterday was one of those days. After stopping at La Pastizzeria at diagnal 56 in Rionegro, I decided to try the penne pasta with vegetables. For under 18,000 pesos (under $6 US dollars) - you can see the prices on-line at their website - I was impressed with the dish. Everything was fresh, and the ambiance of the restaurant was tranquil. I did notice a lot of birthday lunches as they played the birthday song in English over and over. They serve free dessert for those who have birthdays.

Con mi grupo de amigos estábamos celebrando y decidimos ir a cenar a este lugar, éramos como 10 personas y cuando pasaron de las 9 en punto nos trajeron la cuenta y minutos después apagaron las luces del establecimiento con nosotros adentro. La calidad de la comida no es mala, pero tampoco el precio es bajo y, por supuesto, la atención es maliciosa.

Me encanta el ambiente del lugar y el servicio fue excelente, pero la comida no estuvo tan buena. Pedí unos canelones que estaban secos y la carne que estaba presente en ellos parecía estar cocida en exceso.
