Alencon is a really lovely place that I've visited twice now in the last couple of years. After arriving on an early morning ferry in Caen and while en route down to the Charente, Alencon is a great place to stop for breakfast. We first discovered La Pause back in August 2015 after wandering the streets in search of food. We stumbled upon a market just opposite and it caught our eye.
