La Penela - Reservar una mesa

Debido a una celebración familiar decidimos ir a este Restaurante. Los meseros conocen la carta perfectamente y sus recomendaciones son bastante acertadas. Tuvimos problemas con un plato para 4 personas el cual no fue de nuestro agrado y lo cambiaron. Hasta ahí todo muy bien. Al final del almuerzo llego el administrador a hablar del cambio de platos qué tuvimos y nos dijo de manera muy "amable" qué nuestro paladar no estaba preparado para este tipo de comida ya que en Colombia estábamos acostumbrados a comer paella con "caldo Maggi" entre otro temas de nuestra idiosincrasia culinaria. En fin.Finalmente tratamos de explicarle que nosotros habíamos probado paella en Galicia pero igual no quisi...

It was my first time at the restaurant. Beautiful house in Zona G. Upon arrival on a thursday night, usually a busy day for restaurants, it was empty, which wasn't a good sign. We went with a group of 9 people and ordered plates ranging from the spanish tortilla, croquetas, fish, steak and paella. To say the least it was below average and VERY expensive compared to other restaurants. Definitely not worth the money paid. I would not recommend. The waiters also said that by law, I couldn't get served tap water which is completely false. That alone really annoyed our table at the beginning and then we get mediocre food.

The service was good, Nice Waiters and a beautiful place. Unfortunately the paella was very bad. the worst we could have ever eaten. We ordered a "marinero paella" which is supposed to have some seafood, however, some of the plates had none, additionally the rice wasn't cooked well, very bad presentation and cold! We spoke to the Manager, who was rude and according to him in Colombia we don't know what a true paella is!!!, and normally it has only 5% of protein, in this case seafood! Which is not true!Any Way we won't go there ever again

Pésimo servicio por ende fue una pésima experiencia. Esperaba que la comida salvará patria, pero no. Definitivamente no es un recomendado, y no volveré. P.d. Es el único lugar en Bogotá que mienten para no dar agua de la llave a los comensales. Un descaro.

Very bad paella, it was not well cooked and very bad presentation (look at the picture)!! And the manager rude and impolite!
