The starters were acceptable, but the main dishes were lacking. The skate was flavorless, and the filet was served too rare for my liking. We decided to skip dessert. I chose this restaurant for my birthday because I had wanted to try it, but I must say I was very disappointed. I don't think I will be returning.
Lovely setting for a restaurant, great service and very well presented food with excellent range and flavours. Very reasonable prices for the quality of food. Had a fantastic evening highly recommended and would definitely return.
Despite being half empty, it took around half an hour for our drinks. Then my starter was wrong twice. Maybe they were having a bad night, the food was fine and the staff were friendly. But won't be rushing back.

I have visited many places in Falmouth, but this was my first time at La Peniche. It was wonderful. I'm so saddened to hear that they are closing.
The best food I have ever tasted, made me feel like a judge on MasterChef. Unbelievable taste combinations, just a fantastic experience.
