I love food. I love finding new places to eat and exploring cities for the best bars and restaurants, but every time I go to Bath, I only book a table at this gem. Sometimes alone. Sometimes with family. The location (once you 're down those steps) is warm, welcoming and so cosy. The food is just incredible. Each time I find a different dish to rave over: last time it was the octopus, the time before it was the ox tail. Every mouthful screams 'this was created by people who love food! ' The chef has a Michelin star to his name and his passion and skill is apparent on each of the plates served by La Perla 's attentive staff. Even his gluten-free bread is one of most amazing things I 've ever...
Just a line to say what fabulous food we had at La Perla restaurant. This was a special occasion for us, in fact our 34th wedding anniversary and we certainly celebrated in style at La Perla. The food was absolutely fantastic and extremely authentic, we are regular visitors to Madrid in Spain as our daughter lives there, so it was very nice to taste real authentic Spanish Tapas food in the UK. The service was excellent, Staff very very attentive and knowledgeable regards the menu. Excellent surroundings. I have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful restaurant to anybody who visit Bath.
Had high hopes for this place. The restaurant itself is nicely quirky, being underground. The staff were pleasant but the food...when you go for Tapas you think of Mediterranean flavours but this was not here. The peeled Gambas were floating in pots of flavourless hot water with a few garlic slices thrown in. The goats cheese balls were flavourless in fact nothing tasted of anything. It was all flavourless sadly. It was also expensive for what was actually served. The olives and bread were good that's all.
We had a lovely time. Great location in town. The atmosphere is vibrant with a subtle hustle and bustle of a busy restaurant, yet it felt very intimate. The setting is amazing and the food was fantastic, lots of different flavours and the quality was very good. Also the best espresso martini I've had!! All in all a very enjoyable evening and when we return to Bath we look forward to visiting La Perla again. Thank you!

This cavern-style restaurant is a lovely little find! We went for their lunch offer which is 2 tapas dishes and a glass of wine for £17.99. Would definitely recommend!
Very impressed. First visit and I think we have found another gem. Very good food and excellent service in a superb location with a great atmosphere. We will be back.
Food was fantastic! Staff were amazing and the restaurant was great! Highly recommend, had a lovely bottle of red wine and after dinner cocktails all beautiful

Great Tapas staff new the menus with our questions food and wine were excellent The only thing did not do paella. Would go again and recommend to everyone.
