First, the city of Schaffhausen is worth visiting. Its old city is easily toured with the map provided by the tourist information office. The city is on the Rhine making it a very pleasant place to spend a day or more. The restaurant, La Piazza, is conveniently located in the Thiergarten Restaurant building. The dining area is enclosed; so traffic noise and odors are not a problem. In addition large umbrellas cover it making it quite comfortable. It's extremely popular with the locals, which is always a great recommendation. We ordered risotto with chicken and a green salad. Everything was excellent! It was the best meal we had during our 5 days in Switzerland!
arrived at 2:30 a.m. in a shawl after visiting the waterfalls. after 3 restaurants that declared "closed kitchen" boh! strange, great tourist attraction ? probabilmante were afraid of language misunderstandings, following indications Italian restaurant , we discovered the square. of Italian there is little. the attendant (probably Indian) at the tables immediately informed us that we could eat or pizza or pasta. Good. Cute environment we ate out,however the pizza was good the price in line with Switzerland, very kind and very professional guest. We were passing by otherwise I would have liked to try the restaurant that only opened in the evening
just from the spontaneous visit to the lapiazza, I am thrilled by the kitchen and the service. together with my sister I took a great dinner: tomatensuppe (after my wish without cream in the dere - so the suppe was prepared for me specially!,) after that taglio di manzo with fresh vegetables, for my sister cuddly with mushrooms and tomatoes and fagottini al gusto di tartuffo. the meat was super-sweet, the nice crunchy, all after my taste. a limoncello would have been offered, but I still had to drive.
attracted by the beautiful building we decided to eat here, although not the "usual lunchtime" was. very nice staff, dogs were allowed to enter (they have a nice garden economy, but was too fresh to eat out) and eating tasted very good. because no longer was the main meal, we were allowed to choose between pasta, pizza and salat. the selection is great. I would recommend it.

came for dinner with workmates. Although this is an Italian restaurant, I wanted to taste local dishes. I ordered Bruschetta for starters, but went for Rahmschnitzel for Haupt. Service was very good during the meal with waiter helped me in the choice. Bruschetta was very simple, but very tasty. Schnitzel also very good with a delicious sauce. Would recommend.
After the visit of the fall of the rhine, we went to dinner here. arrived at the restaurant around 1:30, the terrace was almost full. 2 large parasols offer shade on the terrace and sprayers make the temperature more bearable. I ordered a hot pizza and pizza was pretty hot. We had a good time at the piazza. The service was a little long and nice.
as we have come to eat with a larger truppet, we have had three menus for choice in advance. the ordered haxen had nothing but nothing to do with haxen! this piece of haxe I would have put our dog under the table if I had him with it. because the bone and the skin was not much to it! the best was the lukewarm suppe and dessert.
Good restaurant, good service and good atmosphere! The restaurant inside is very comfortable and the service is fast and all waiters/ waiters are very friendly! We ordered three different pizzas and all were very good (margherita, melanzane and salami). It is a beautiful place where you can spend a pleasant dinner.

We go here at least once every two months (more in summer as they really have beautiful seats outside) and enjoy it every time. The service is very nice and the food is always very good.
