Delicious food and friendly service! We had the Tartare (seasoned ground beef with egg and the Fondant de volialle aux cèpes (baked chicken pieces with mushroom , both with vegetables instead of baked potatoes, and it was great to not have haricots verts for a change :

The food was good, but the service was slow. Not faulting the single lady there, but she was the only person serving 25+ covers. This meant that service was slow. If she had help, I'm sure the trade would be much quicker.

We found a good table in this small but nice restaurant with our dog without a reservation. We were served very attentively and patiently. We enjoyed it excellently. The price performance is good. We recommend it!

Only spot open at 3 p m in sleepy Laon in August. Go visit the church. Carrot and orange soup -chilled -was substantial. Good but slow service.
