Visited with three friends hungry after a hard morning of skiing. We waited nearly half an hour between being seated and receiving our drinks. It was to be minutes before we received any food – not so much as a piece of bread....I had chosen a simple cheese croute (a Savoyarde speciality). When this finally arrived, it had clearly been flashed under a grill to cook the top, but was stone cold (i.e. refrigerated) beneath. It also contained raw tomato (watery) and ham (not specified on the menu – so non-meat eaters should beware). I complained to the waiter. He shrugged, disinterested. I left, hungry. An utterly depressing experience, and quite definitely the worst restaurant I have yet encoun...
On the mountain good service and food is sometimes like the Holy Grail. La Pierre aux Loups manages to do both. Foie Gras and French Onion soup both excellent Starters. Pizza, Pasta, Burgers, Steaks and Salads are all delicious main courses. All delivered with a...willing smile. Spring skiing makes late afternoons more lunchtime than piste time. We were never hurried from our table. Yesterday we were left with a full bottle of Ginepri at our table as we had coffee. Excellent.
I came here with a group of my friends during a ski trip I’ve been skiing in morzine/avoriaz for years, and have been to Pierre aux Loups before. However, this time, the service was absolutely atrocious. Took so long to take our order, forgot...about our drinks and then we asked over four times for our bill really took away from the quality of the food, which was great. I had a lovely margarita pizza! The understaffing of the restaurant was clearly a real issue.
Voilà un établissement commun à toutes les pistes. Première surprise on nous réserve une table à l'intérieur, deuxième surprise, on nous offre un saucisson pour patienter, l'établissement a du succès. L'attente prend tout son sens lorsqu'on voit passer les plats, pizzas, hamburger au reblochon etc. Tout est fait maison. Le personnel est sympathique malgré l'influence, ambiance montagne. Très bonne adresse.

we have used this restaurant on ski holidays for years or more. it was really good running, eating great, service great. since last year it has changed hands and has gone downhill. the personal did not seem to know which table was what was eating. poor, the kerl on the street could not work the credit card machine, making various families to scrabble around money. a real shame. avoid
Nous venons régulièrement à la pierre au loups. On apprécie particulièrement l'accueil et la qualité des plats. La qualité reste bonne d'année en année. Pizza et burger sont copieux. Le tarifs correspond à des prix de restaurants d'altitudes (15/17€ la pizza) mais avec la qualité en plus.
Accueil sympathique. Équipe joyeuse.Cuisine de qualité.Que l on prenne des pizzas, des spécialités régionales ou des pièces du boucher tout est bon.Si vous avez envie de poisson passer votre chemin.Une bonne qualité de produits
Pause au soleil Pause bien méritée après une matinée de skiL'endroit est idéal, pizza bien pour recharger les batteries, Leffe pression...Bref, la vie est belle

Just above the Rochassons lift at Plaine Dranse (if you ski down to the lift then you've gone too far) cracking pizzas; in fact the whole menu is good!
Idéalement situé pour se retrouver entre skieurs et non skieurs. Excellentes pizzas et un accueil très chaleureux.
