La Pinata Mexican Restaurant

Great place for a great Mexican dining experience! Staff was helpful and gracious! Environment was nice and felt like I was visiting a restaurant in Mexico. The music being played was good and suited the environment! It was an amazingly clean restaurant and bar. It was nice to see the outdoor dining area in the back of the restaurant but the indoor space is open with distancing due to the regulations. It is located in a strip mall near the Bart station and the parking was very good!

they might get some dinge vegan here, but they would never be safe. I think the disappointing classic gauc waa vegan. Otherwise, they forget to find out if rice, be drilling, hot chocolate, etc. are vegan. for non-vegans, eat expensive and moderate. the employees have asked us for a warmer place and a high chair for the baby in the empty restaurant. they sat at the window/door and forgot the high chair. I dare say we should have gone to chipotle.

Shrimp spinach enchiladas in a pesto cream sauce today, for an office Christmas lunch for 8 of us. Very few other diners and we were seated inside near the front door/entry aisle around 1:45pm. Pre-pandemic for the past 10+ years, this was often where my family would come to celebrate birthdays, and they always had good service and great food. We kept our masks on until food and beverages were served. Their good reputation is well-deserved.

asked for a vegetarian burrito without cheese. the burrito was a good size for $10 but had raw red tweeted and raw tomaten inside (on the menu it tells them what is sweet in vegetarian burrito and also not mentioned). overall it was ok

Vegan options are slim to none. If this is their only choice, they can change some elements on the menu, but it is almost not even worth the effort. looks better elsewhere!
