La Place - Reservar una mesa

We stopped here after visiting the most excellent Chateau in Vitre .It is in fact located in the square nearby.Very nice ambiance , modern , and very friendly staff.The food was excellent and enjoyed by all.The lunch menu was very good value and was nicely cooked.We had stir fried chicken for mains which was just right.Heartily recommended. .

Lovely atmosphere and meal in La Place overlooking the amazing Chateau of Vitre. We sat outside in the evening and were given blankets to keep the Brittany evening chill off. A wonderful touch provided by courteous and helpful staff. The inside of the restaurant was beautifully decorated. All in all a great dinner and a recommended location.

Excellent is the word that covers interior, menu, cuisine, service and value. The dishes are lavish and a feast for the eyes. Iberian sardines and snails were superb as were the mains of duck breast and cod. Absolutely divine.

What a great wee restaurant with really nice food and nice, pleasant service. It felt owner run rather than a big company. I have given it 5 star be cause the Caesar salad was the best I have ever tasted. Hamish, Edinburgh.
