La PLACE - Brasserie Pizzeria

I had a 90-min stop for lunch in Falaise last month with some colleagues en route to Caen, and we chose La Place. The casual décor and friendly staff were warm and inviting as we sat at a table for 8. The choice in fare was plentiful but I opted for the pizza de quatre fromage and café gourmand as part of a formule La Place (€12.50 for pizza, salad and coffee "gourmand"). The pizza serving was generous and of excellent quality, and the coffee (came with four exquisite mini desserts) sublime. My colleagues also enjoyed their respective meals and agreed on its good value for what one received. A great lunch stopover in Falaise!

We had a decent meal here on our first night in Normandy. The food was typical of a brasserie in France. If you are looking for a quick meal that will keep the kids happy then by all means take them here. They did cater for a group of 10 without notice which is more then some places in Falaise were able to do.

We go here for the set menu at lunchtimes, and for pizza in the evening. It is always busy, and never disappoints. Very popular with locals and tourists.

We had a lovely meal here as a family. Pizzas were very tasty as were the puddings. Definitely worth a visit.

Great pizzas! They have a very nice menu. Casual restaurant for lunch or dinner. In the centre of town.
