Due to the community's love for fish and the French culinary tradition, we had high hopes for the fish and chips at this restaurant. However, we were left disappointed. The fish seemed to be of mediocre quality, tasting like it came from a frozen box. It was greasy and heavy, leaving us unsure of how we would feel later in the day. We also tried the lobster spring roll, which was nothing special. We recommend avoiding both dishes. On the bright side, the staff was friendly and the ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant.

This restaurant is a true gem. They offer a wide variety of fresh seasonal fish and lobster. Their specialty sushi, made using the ingredients they sell, is excellent. The tuna and salmon sushi was just as good as the seaweed salad. However, the restaurant only has two small tables for dining in, so it is more suited for takeout. Despite this, we had a delicious and fresh lunch that was beautifully presented.

I stopped in for a quick break and ordered a crab sandwich with fries at the pickup window. The sandwich $16) consists of flaked crab, a bit of mayo, chopped green onion and lettuce on a grilled bun. A nice, fresh little bite for lunch....The fries $3) are quite good when first served, salty and lightly seasoned. Takeout can be eaten at one of the few picnic tables by the parking lot.

We made the mistake of trying every single maki they had on display and boy were we disappointed. With such a great array of products and fresh fish, it's really a shame. The rice was awful and there was too much of it. And bell...peppers in every roll? A big no-no. So stick with what a good fish market is known for and only get their fresh or smoked products. we are a few from the east coast and had to stop trying the lobster poutin. it was absolutely amazing. the best poutine we've ever had. many lobsters and overall taste. we wanted to share one, but we were very happy that we all have our own. we had hoped to come back before our stay ended, but unfortunately did not have the chance.

We tried the seafood stew and decided to return later for more, even though it was still early in the day. The dish was delicious and cooked to perfection.

Not bad for a simple lunch. Everything is fresh, it's take out self-serve but you can eat at the adjacent bar....
