We stopped for lunch on our final day at La Giettaz. The restaurant is at the very top of the La Giettaz facing side of the Col du Aravis- a real cycling mecca- with an event starting off from the car park whilst we were there. There is a large restaurant plus a decent size deck- which with the views is a better option- even if its a bit cold and windy. If you choose your table well you can find a bit of shelter. Its a very meaty menu and the food is pretty good quality- not excellent- but decent nevertheless. Between us we had the house burger and a Pork platter (diot, pork and farcemeat stuffing). Long and winding road with lots of S bends but the views from this restaurant are amazing even more so if it is nice enough weather to sit at an outside table. Choice of salads, pizzas, burgers and other grilled meats and some delicious looking desserts. Service was friendly and quite quick they are clearly used to catering for coach loads who make this a stopping point, quite understandably.

Le cadre est agréable (grande terrasse avec belle vue) et la cuisine était bonne (viande et salade avec chèvre, charcuterie, champignons). Le service était un peu lent mais les serveurs très sympathiques.
Perfect reception, listen to customers and small care. Two very dynamic women offer a service of kindness and efficiency. succulent dishes, sunny terrace, white mountain view! And the blueberry pie is a murder! we will return for our next high savoy trip

we went to this place during our holidays we had very good eaten and received by the very pleasant boss only problem: difficult to park because many people when it is beautiful I recommend this restaurant with a beautiful view on the white mountain
After a good walk, we always stop eating very good crêpes or pies with a little bit of white mountain biere with the cow bells that resonate to the nice top and super waiter at the top and a bowl of water for my louloute we are never disappointed
Sans réservation, nous avons été très bien accueillies (3 pers). Déjeuner délicieux, avec des produits locaux. Tarifs corrects vu les mets servis. Serveuse charmante et souriante ! vue sur le mont Blanc magnifique ! n'hésitez pas, arrêtez-vous !

We order a bottle of Bordeaux wine and the waiter brought it already open. It's a trap for tourists. Definitely to avoid.
