We went to La Poterne at the end of August, around 13:00. Only 3 tables were occupied and at least 5 tables were free, no reserved signs to be seen . They asked if we reserved. We said no and then they said they couldn’t serve us lunch anymore. Very disappointing. Opening hours from 11:00 until 19:00, empty terrace and not willing to serve 4 people for lunch. We will never go back! They should be ashamed! We had lunch at the Auberge and saw no extra clients at La Poterne. 0 points given for hospitality.
This almost open air restaurant offers a gorgeous view. The menu is rather limited but it is for the benefit of the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Nice to see the cook/waiter cutting some herbs for your omelet in the garden next to the kitchen. The suppliers of all the ingredients are listed on the menu. Finally, the home brewed beer is delicious despite its very low level of alcohol.
In an idyllic place, a warm welcome, a calm and peaceful atmosphere, a kitchen in agreement with the environment, dishes prepared with passion and local products, we enjoyed the soup with pistou, a feast, not forgetting the absolutely fabulous desserts. Thank you for that moment.
A little restaurant like you can see more. A maximum of ten tables, as much as tell you that you're at little care. We took the barracks' plate, a high-quality report to the top. An ecxeptional framework. I'm not gonna put a picture to let you surprise. And again and again!

Idyllic frame, a terrace perched in the heart of the village of Brantes. Nice view. Delicious dish, open to vegetarian family atmosphere, we feel good! We thank the restaurateurs for their welcome. To the pleasures of returning to taste your cuisine
