La Poule au Pot - Reserva de mesa

I love the Poule au Pot and was very disappointed when they shut a few years ago. So delighted when they re-opened. We went in August and the food was as good as always, but our third course - omelette au cepes - had a whole black beetle in it. However we still went back for more a couple of weeks later. And some friends of ours went last week and lo and behold there was another beetle. But you know what? We'll still go back. It's the most authentic place to eat in the area. Clientele mainly local. We just like it.

i first came here thirteen years ago and it was always a favourite place to bring the children. The meals are still excellent value, good ingredients, simply cooked in a pleasant rural setting. What spoiled it for us this time was that there were so many flies in the dining room. We wished we had brought a fly swat or sticky tape traps. We will come again, but in winter when there are no insect visitors.

Truly Unbelievable. I have been going here for over 10 years. Great local menu with "le magret du canard" as its central meal (only 5 belly stuffing courses)!. Set price menu with real home cooked quality and a litre of wine included. You will never be disappointed. Set times for eating. Reservation needed. Ensure you work hard at breakfast - I usually do 30km bike ride beforehand.

I had never heard of this restaurant, but a friend wanted us to try it, so my wife and I went there for lunch with two other couples. This is a true French country restaurant, not the least bit fancy, with plain and hearty cooking...More Reserva una mesa ahora

We are so pleased that Jaques et Therese Roux have decided reopen. Vive l auberge de Lot. The Pommes de Terre are as good as before. ! A must visit if in this region. Please support them

Very good food not the smartest of restaurants but the food certainly makes up for that the staff are all very friendly
