I have lived in Millau for 5 years and enjoy mountain hiking and photography. One of my favourite hikes is over the Pouncho d 'Agast mountain, which forms the backdrop of this bar/ restaurant. After descending the mountain I heard music playing from the bar that had been closed for the confinement. I spied cold beers in the glass fronted fridge and asked Philippe if I could buy one to which he replied, Would you like a draught beer, Mike? After 9 weeks of no draught beers I leapt at the chance and he put his first keg on for me. Being very thirsty the one beer soon became two and I ordered a pizza as it was a take-away service. Visited this restaurant as it was near our campsite, what a mistake. Son ordered pizza, husband a salad and I ordered tagliatelle and a carafe of wine. The pizza was so greasy, my son could only eat a third of it. I saw my tagliatelle being cooked in a microwave The pasta was hard and the whole dish was tasteless. My husband said the salad appeared to have been taken out of a bag and put in a plate. The wine was okay. The biggest problem was the flies everywhere, the table our glasses and our food. We camp, so are used to insects when we eat outside but do not expect this inside a restaurant. Had 6 on our table at one stage yuck! Food was overpriced too!
I went there with friends on the eve of the vintage viaduct race. the restaurant had adapted its card that night to offer pasta (of course very good) to the riders who were very numerous. a warm welcome, an irreproachable service, hot dishes, a pleasant setting, music, we had a very good time there. In addition, a customer overturned his plate and the staff was very reactive to come clean very quickly, with great kindness and make the customer comfortable that was tight, for free! Thanks and a great bravo to the whole team!
This is a nice bar/restaurant situated by the rivers Tarn and Dourbie. The mountain views are spectacular. The food is good, English is spoken and the menus are in French, English and Dutch. Paragliding, canoeing and mountain escalading can be booked next door. It is a nice place to eat or just have a drink and watch the parapentistes, or photograph the vultures over the Pouncho d'Agast mountain. This establishment sits at the base of the mountain and hence the name.

Staying at a nearby campsite we visited, intrigued to know where the banging disco/rave was coming from each night until the small hours. Found an extremely loud DJ playing to an audience of just 4, at half eleven on a Tuesday. This restaurant is a blight on the local area with it’s anti social noise, rules in France are evidently very different to that of the UK.
We enjoyed a nice dinner, sitting outside in the setting sun. The waitresses were very kind and spontaneously gave water to my dog (he loved it! We had tasty moules frites and our vegetarian friend found a huge fresh salad. I recommend the place for its friendliness
very good atmosphere. programming is regularly renewed. services and managers are welcoming, smiling and available. We eat well. the green summit is a new place that deserves to be known and the passage is necessary to spend a beautiful musical evening.
The food was decent, but the kitchen was badly presented at a full restaurant. We had to wait 15 minutes before every adult had his main dish. - One.
