We came in for lunch on a quiet Thursday afternoon and sat outside in the courtyard which was very pleasant. We found the service was good and waiters looked after us, but got the drinks order slightly wrong bringing a smaller wine measure than ordered but noting the original order luckily we were able to correct this later as you pay at the bar. The portion sizes were generous, duck dish was excellent as were the burgers,the pizza we ordered was under cooked needed more time in oven. So in summary it’s worth a visit had the food been spot on would have been a 4 star place.
We wanted to eat in Cenac to meet up with our cycling sons, and decided on Le Promenade Bar Restaurant Tabac. It was a great experience and we enjoyed generous and hearty fare as part of an inexpensive menu served family style. It is not a fancy, but genuine place frequented by local workers on their lunch break. We did have a hard time finding the place, since the trip advisor ‘marker’ on the map puts the restaurant on a different street, and the address 'Le Bourg' does not offer any detail. The restaurant is actually right on the D46 close the pharmacy.
Je recommande ce restaurant midi et soir et autres, une trés bonne table cela fait la quatrième année que nous allons à Cenac St Julien et nous avons jamais été deçu par le service. surtout pour les soirées musicales il faut réservé. Nous allons y revenir en 2024.
We ate here on a couple of occasions during this trip. One of the evenings was a soiree where we ate moules and frites, which were plentiful and delicious. This is great value for money, relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff.

We did not regret our stopover. beautiful house and house kitchen. We hesitated in front of a very beautiful map. but the diversity of dishes can only satisfy the different culinary tastes.
We came here to have a beer/wine and use the free Wi-Fi and ending up finding a surprisingly great restaurant attached to the Tabac down the side street, we will be back next time.
Il y a bien un endroit ou il faut s'arrêter. Les repas sont trés bons . Le personnel au petit soin. Et les soirées bien animées. Tout va bien :
