We came one night at the end of our stay. Frankly, this is the second time we eat there and it's always a pleasure! The meals are simple (in the right sense of the word, copyy and good.Petit clin d’oeil to the waitress( couple with their daughter in blue eyes); who was robbing Breton versus Loire Atlantique and discussing Duchesse Anne... thank you for your smile, humour and kindness throughout our meal. It is pleasant this human warmth and it will undoubtedly bring us back a third time, eat in this establishment when we return to the Dordogne in a few years.Soon and as the Bretons Kenavo ar wech all say:
Let's go back on holiday in the corner and stop all the time in this restaurant. We eat well at a reasonable rate with a superb view of Castelnaud Castle. The boss is very nice, it's true that the waitress is a little overwhelmed for no big thing but on holiday we're normally not in a hurry.We recommend you stop there.
Mussels on a Friday. Great pizza. And lovely ice cream for dessert. Service was really good. The view from the garden across the fields to the river and castle is wonderful, especially as the sun goes down but watch out for the gnats.
Very nice restaurant, a waitress certainly a little “overloaded” with no big thing, but a nice boss. We ate very well, we'll be back.
