We’re from Long Island and are big fans of Barzola, but we had such a disappointing experience there on a Saturday morning that we left without even ordering food. Hungry and looking for a new spot, we stumbled upon this restaurant across the street. I’m writing this review while we enjoy our meal; we ordered the “escudo” dish, which is amazing! The ‘la guatita’ is exceptional too. The service is attentive and friendly. Overall, we’re having a fantastic experience here!
I drove from Westchester to La Puntilla, and it was absolutely worth the trip. You can’t find good Ecuadorian food in Westchester. The Chaulafan was delicious, and the second Chivo was even better. Making Caldo de Salchichas can be quite challenging, but theirs was excellent. The service was fantastic, and our waitress was incredibly friendly. I will definitely make the long journey back in the future.
