Our food arrived quickly; however, just as swiftly, our server disappeared. There was no follow-up from her at all, and our drinks went from full to empty without any attention. The food was delivered by someone other than our server, who was not seen again until it was time for the check.
The tacos were tasty and well-filled, but they were on the smaller side and not very filling. Ordered the Queso as always, my favorite from any restaurant in the Raleigh area hands down. The enchiladas and tacos were amazing. Normally I play it safe and just get the ACP, which is also fantastic, super simple but really good flavor and VERY filling. Decided to venture out last night and try more of their menu items and I was not disappointed. The Alambre was delicious and the leftovers were just as good which is a rarity for a lot of places. They gave me an entire cup of hot oil with it too. I always go here on my birthday for margaritas and chips and dip theyve never let me down!!
Wow! That's all I can say. We were visiting with family and wanted to enjoy a nice dinner out. Although they seemed understaffed that night, the service was exceptional! The jumbo margaritas were truly jumbo!! Enormous, well made, and delicious! I saw the King Ranch Burrito and HAD to try it. It basically had every type of animal on it! Steak, chicken, chorizo, bacon, and shrimp. It was AMAZING! And also HUGE. I ordered it with the chipotle cream sauce on the side, but ended up putting it all over it. The experience was great and we will definitely be returning.
Decided to try La Rancherita tonight on a whim with my friend and I couldn’t be happier with the decision. Contrary to recent complaints I had absolutely no issue with service. The waitress was attentive, extremely nice and made great recommendations. The carne asada was juicy, tender and the salsa was to die for. It’s not often I give a 5 star rating but this place deserves a 5 star rating.

BEST MEXICAN FOOD, EVER (and I’ve been to Mexico)! The atmosphere is fun and spacious with great music. The real treasure is the staff who are on top of their game. A must go!
