They left my partner and I waiting at the door for over 10 minutes we could see they were busy so remained patient. We were stood a few feet from two laid up tables (no reserve sign) but thought it rude to sit down without asking. At least 3 ladies went in and out of the kitchen several times while we stood there. Finally I said excuse me and asked for a table for two. The lady was very abrupt perhaps because 3 meals had just been returned to the kitchen! There are no places perhaps someone could have told us that when we arrived as nowhere else was open in Corlay and it was now close to 1pm when it becomes harder to find a good restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. Firstly although this restaurant is listed in St Brieuc it is over 20 miles away in the little village of Corlay. We visited the village with 4 adults and 3 children and didn't find anywhere else in the village for lunch. Fortunately we weren't disappointed. It isn't very big and fills up quickly with locals (always a good sign). As mentioned by another reviewer you choose which half you want ouvrier (workers) or the slightly more upmarket set menu. The food was simple but very tasty and well prepared. Service was very good and the staff were very hardworking and friendly. They weren't able to provide a high chair but we shared out the baby minding duties. Very reasonable prices.
