La Récréation Gourmande

Set in an old schoolhouse the restaurant is novel and interesting. The food is fresh and prepared by the chef (proprietor) who was keen to see what we thought of the food. Really good food and loved how they had done the interior of the old school house along with the 'donkey 's ' hat in the middle. Always struggled ot get in there but finally made it. Now we know why it is always full

La Recreation Gourmande is set in the old school in the heart of the village of Villegenon. It is well worth a detour for excellent food served in the pleasing decor of the old school-room, with very friendly service. The lunch-time menu is very good value, but it is well worth reserving a table as I have seen several couples being turned away due to the restaurant being full.

This place has a lot of potential but there were a few super pretentious and annoying attributes to my experience at PeraBell this evening.

I just love this restaurant Living 10 minutes away from patchoue, this is me and my husband's go-to restaurant.
