This restaurant is highly rated on Tripadvisor but we were disappointed. Our son has severe nut allergies (especially peanuts) and we mentioned this when we booked. When we arrived it was discussed again and decided he couldn’t have the chicken nuggets because there was a risk of traces in the coating. No problem, we placed our orders. The drinks arrived with a bowl of peanuts, oh dear. I explained that if the staff touched peanuts and touched anything my son would touch then we’d have a major problem. We really enjoyed the place. I had Foie gras starter with an entrecote main and it was lovely. My daughter had the matter de canard and again it was perfectly cooked. Service was excellent, attentive but not over the top and certainly not Parisian style of ignoring you. Overall a very pleasant experience

Excellent meal in this fantastic family owned small restaurant. Make sure you book in advance just in case. I had the foie gras terrine is to start as was the steak which I had for main. The homemade profiterole dessert is fantastic!

Small welcoming restaurant. Excellent quality and presentation of dishes. Good value for money. Will go again.
