La rose des sables

Just finished a delicious lunch with my family. We had the chicken tagine, osso bucco, a couscous dish, market fish and roast chicken with chips. The serving sizes were so big that it's impossible to leave without being full. Even though they were all out of the fresh market fish.....once they found out my daughter was a vegetarian they gave her their last (secret) supply of fish. The ambience and decor transports you out of France to North Africa. Everyone in my family loved the food and experience!

If you want a good well priced supper, the Rose would be hard to beat. I had Chicken & chips, which was just right. The lamb tagine was good also and the steak seemed well received also. This place is nothing fancy, & if you go with this in mind you won't be disappointed. Everyone was very welcoming and attentive.

good food, huge portions serve on lovely plate. service average, my meat was not enough cook and the dessert is terrible, sorry but a fondant chocolat without fondant inside is not a fondant... my chocolate mousse was full of water in the bottom, the dessert is definitely not their strenght!

Went again with the family this time. Best to reserve.... as always crowded. Despite very busy evening everything went smoothly in a timely manner. Good wine. God service. Good food... keep going.

For 17 euro a lamb tagine that could have served 2 . Friendly service , great meal . A great find ...........
