This small take-out serves most amazing rotisserie chicken, ham and ribs, with sides like ratatouille, potatoes au gratin, and more. Every single dish smelled and tasted so delicious that we ended up coming here several times. Prices are very reasonable and if you are not in the mood to cook or sit in a restaurant, it was a great alternative. But the real gem is the guy who runs this place with his father - very friendly and genuine. He invites you to taste the meats, smell the ratatouille cooking on the stove and may even offer to try some local cider while you are waiting. Highly recommend!!

We've come to Houlgate every summer for years, so I really mean it when I say that this little gem has the best roasted chicken and the best pork ribs in town and around! The baked potatoes are exquisite, and the chicken is light and crispy. Plus, the staff is very helpful and kind. It's the perfect take out to put on your dinner table! GREAT place.

So far, we've had an excellent rotisserie farm chicken, juicy and flavourful, and stellar gratin camembert. You will not find a more considerate person on the planet than the man who will serve you at La Rotisserie Houlgataise, and he collects the goodies on offer from local farms himself. Can't wait to try the famed ribs! YUM!
